Process to be followed to start a
club and affiliate to East Cape Cycling:
- Identify the founding members /
management committee
- Draw up a constitution for the club
- Establish the registered address, postal address, and other
contact details (a Face Book page is advisable to communicate
with your members and
general public)
- Open a bank account
- Appoint an auditor / registered accountant to oversee the
finances of the club
- Fill in Affiliation Application Form and send to East Cape
Cycling Secretary (Form can be found under Documents on this
web)
- Affiliation fees as determined at the East Cape Cycling AGM
needs to be paid into East Cape Cycling's bank account, within
30 days after the club's
affiliation has been accepted by the
executive

Process to be followed to
renew a clubs affiliation with East Cape Cycling:
- At the end of each year i.e.
December all clubs wanting to renew affiliation for the
following year needs to fill in the Affiliation Application Form and
send
to East Cape Cycling Secretary (Form can be found under
Documents on this web)
- Affiliation fees as determined at the East Cape Cycling AGM
needs to be paid into East Cape Cycling's bank account before 30
January.
